We went to Joshua Tree a week or so ago to do some writing and recording for the new album, hopefully we can get it out early Spring ‘10. Dave Catching from EODM and Earthlings? was there as spiritual guide, chef and cheerleader. His presence was definitely a bonus. Good photographer too.

The method was a strange combination of 12 hours of sitting around bullshitting and checking weird shit on the web interspersed with a coupla hours of furious creative bursts, somehow it worked. We got about 4 or 5 songs pretty fleshed out, when we would’ve been satisfied with skeletons.
